Nestled in 200 acres of stunning grounds, Hanbury Manor is a beautiful Jacobean-style hotel. It features a secluded walled garden, a golf course, and a serene lake. As a keen Hanbury Manor Wedding Photographer, capturing weddings here is an absolute joy. This is because Hanbury Manor offers various settings, from the bright garden court to the atmospheric manor house. As a Hertfordshire-based wedding photographer, I love exploring impressive venues like this, because they offer endless possibilities for beautiful images.

This venue seamlessly blends history, elegance, and natural beauty. As a Hanbury Manor Wedding Photographer, I’m inspired by its charm to create captivating wedding photographs through my lens.

Weddings at Hanbury Manor

Planning your Hanbury Manor wedding? Picture yourself in Poles Hall, the original chapel of the Manor House. Its lofty ceilings and historic elements create an awe-inspiring setting, complemented by chic light fixtures for a touch of modern allure. Alternatively, choose the Thundridge Suite, a contemporary venue offering picturesque views of the golf course. This versatile space can be customised to bring your vision to life. For an immersive outdoor experience, consider the Garden Court area. Bathed in natural light from the glass atrium, this private section of the gardens brings the outdoors in, creating an mesmerising ambiance for your special day.

Annalisa and Jack’s Hanbury Manor Wedding Photography

Annalisa and Jack had me join them as their Hanbury Manor wedding photographer, for a relaxed and elegant celebration in the Garden Court summerhouse. They’d chosen Garden Court as they loved the privacy and beauty of the walled garden. They felt it slightly more relaxed in comparison to the more formal manor house. Their day was all about celebrating with their family and friends, including their two beautiful children.

Hanbury Manor Wedding Ceremony

Annalisa arrived on her dad’s arm to walk down the aisle towards Jack in his suit from Mr Macky’s (adorably matched with their little boy!). The Garden Court room had been decorated with floral arrangements from The Flowerpot to match Annalisa’s bouquet, and violinist Hayley Pomfrett was providing a dreamy soundtrack. As an experienced Hanbury Manor wedding photographer, I love the light in this space; the white drapes on the ceiling, along with the white blossom trees and green foliage make a stunning backdrop for a ceremony.

Their friends and family showered them with confetti as they walked out into the walled garden, and we took some time to capture group portraits in the dappled shade of the trees, before everyone relaxed with garden games and drinks.

Evening Reception at Hanbury Manor

I took the couple for a wander in the walled garden for their newlyweds portrait. The light through the trees was perfect for these romantic moments. These two were totally in love and connected and Jack always knows how to put a smile on Annalisa’s face. Jack’s mum had written a wonderful poem about him and how Annalisa entered his life. It felt such a touching moment, because as everyone listened intently throughout their speeches.

Their wedding cake was made by Euthymia Cakes and designed with a traditional clean look on one side, and a colourful cascade on the other. After the cake cutting, they went straight into their first dance to Aerosmith’s ‘I don’t want to miss a thing’. The evening entertainment was provided by Coral and Blue.

The twinkling fairy lights created a magical atmosphere for the couple and their guests to enjoy. As planned, everyone grabbed their sparklers to create and capture some fun shots for the couple to remember their day by.
