About Deji

Editorial portraits.
Honest storytelling.

I’m Deji, a wedding photographer drawn to light, atmosphere and the moments that often pass in an instant.

My work brings together two sides of wedding photography. The first is editorial portraiture, images with shape, presence and a strong visual point of view. The second is natural storytelling, documenting the day as it unfolds so the photographs still feel connected to what was really happening.

The result is a gallery that feels stylish, grounded and full of life. Strong portraits, real moments and a clear sense of the energy of the day.

A Calm Presence with an Observant Eye

I am not interested in turning a wedding into a photoshoot.

Some parts of the day need direction, and I will always step in when it helps. During portraits, I guide with intention so the images feel natural but visually strong. For the rest of the day, I pay close attention and let things unfold. The quick glance across the room. The nerves before the ceremony. The noise, movement and emotion once everyone settles into the day.

I work in a way that allows you to stay present. Nothing stiff, nothing overworked, nothing that pulls you out of the experience. Just photographs that look good and still feel like you.

The Experience matters just as much as the photographs

Being photographed should not feel awkward or demanding.

Whether you love being in front of the camera or feel unsure about it, I create space for you to settle in and feel at ease. I give direction when needed, keep things moving when it helps, and step back when the moment speaks for itself.

My role is not only to make strong images, but to make the process feel easy to be part of. When you look back at your wedding photographs, I want you to remember the day itself, not the feeling of performing for the camera.

Recognition

A Style Recognised for Strong Storytelling and Visual Consistency

I am proud to have been featured & awarded here.

RANGEFINDER MAGAZINE 30 RISING STARS

In 2022, I was named one of Rangefinder Magazine’s 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography, a recognition that meant a great deal because it reflected the kind of work I care most about creating: photographs with narrative, cohesion and a clear point of view.

Awards are never the reason couples choose a photographer, but they do speak to the level of care, attention and creative discipline behind the work.

KIND WORDS

UK & Destination Weddings

I am based in the UK and photograph weddings wherever the story takes me.

From city weddings to countryside gatherings to destination weekends abroad, each setting brings its own light, pace and atmosphere. The location may change, but my focus stays the same: creating photographs with presence while staying close to the reality of the day.

If that balance of editorial portraits and honest storytelling feels right for you, I would love to hear what you are planning.

Let’s begin the conversation.
