Getting Married In Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire is home to a variety of beautiful and luxurious countryside wedding venue. As a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer, I am grateful to have photographed at some of these historic and gorgeous estates. These include Ashridge House, with its grand turreted façades, a choice of elegant reception rooms and unique backdrop. It is also surrounded by 190 acres of stunning gardens. A venue like this is photography heaven, therefore is a perfect location for your big day. There is Fanhams Hall, a beautiful country house in Ware. I particular love the Great Hall and Long Gallery rooms for all their photo heaven spectacular features. The courtyard and outside grounds provide a beautiful backdrop for your newlywed portraits and family photos.

North Mymms Park offers an impressive choice of rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings and reception parties. Their elegant spaces come in all shapes and sizes, each boasting its own distinctive period décor and tranquil countryside views. There also is the famous Knebworth House, where you can hold your ceremony in the beautiful house garden, a choice of three barns or in the house itself. If you want something a bit more modern and stylish, then you’d like The Grove in Watford. It’s a luxury hotel with stunning spaces for weddings and reception parties and amazing views of the Hertfordshire countryside. These are just a few of the amazing wedding venues that this lovely county has to offer!

Hertfordshire Wedding Photography

As an experienced Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer, I take an unobtrusive approach to capturing the candid moments of emotion in an authentic and natural way. For much of the day I fade into the background, I don’t alter scenes or interfere in any way. I rely on my observational and creative storytelling skills to capture timeless images of your family and friends. Ahead of every wedding I like to get to know you through a pre-wedding consultation. We’ll discuss incorporating formal group photos and gorgeous newlywed portraits into the wedding day. Although I am unobtrusive for large parts of the day, I will offer some direction for this period, making the best use of light and the location, and will ensure these images are beautiful and a true reflection of you.

Weddings Photography Further Afield

Whilst Hertfordshire is an amazing county for weddings, there is no shortage of breath-taking venues around the UK and abroad.

From alluring castles and grand stately homes in the shires, to the majestic mountains, sprawling fields, and tranquil shores of a Swiss Alps lake, the possibilities are truly limitless, catering to every style and taste.

Though I’m UK based, I love to travel, and so will go wherever you’re getting married. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled to countries such as Italy, Switzerland and Portugal for weddings. Travelling also allows me to tick off my bucket list of locations I’ve always wanted to visit. So, if you are planning a wedding abroad, I would love to hear what you have planned.

With couples placing a greater emphasis on guest entertainments and personal touches, it’s important to make the most of me as your photographer. Be it a pre-wedding welcome reception dinner or want a day-after portrait session, I’ve got you covered. If you are looking for a Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer that travels further afield, I’d love to hear from you.
