Fanhams Hall is a Grade I listed Jacobean mansion, famous for their sophisticated symmetry, grand entrance halls and elaborate carvings. It is set in 27 acres of grounds, which boasts many features including a beautifully manicured formal garden and a Grade II listed Japanese Tea House. With the mansion as a picture perfect backdrop, there is a Gazebo lawn nestled within the formal garden where your guests can see you walk down the aisle. Fanhams Hall has an eclectic mix of 77 bedrooms and suites and can accommodate a large number of your guests. As a Fanhams Hall Wedding Photographer, I always hope for quality light with an equally great backdrop for your photos. The Cheshnut bridal suite is mansion’s signature room with its bright, airy and elegant space that makes you feel special. With large beautiful bay windows overlooking the garden, it provides the natural light needed to create stunning portraits of you.

The Long Gallery provides the perfect setting to exchange your wedding vows, with its oak panelled walls, ornate ceiling and beautiful chandeliers. When beautifully decorated with flowers and chiffon vertical covered chairs, this room with take your breath away. The Great Hall is perfect room for your wedding reception, with its Jacobean fireplace, high beamed ceiling and stone framed lattice windows with views out into the garden. It is large enough to seat 120 for your wedding breakfast and 170 for evening reception.

There are endless photo opportunities within the grounds to capture newlywed portraits, from the towering tress, to the manicured walled garden, to the Japanese Tea House surrounding by lakes with waterfalls. The ground also includes the Wisteria Walk which bursts into life during the Spring. For a more contemporary feel and in contrast to the Great Hall, there is the Lakeside Pavilion with its Japanese styled garden, that boast panoramic views and water fountains.
